Anne Water Grauso - Producer

Anne is an independent producer currently working from both New York and Los Angeles. In 2014 she founded her own film production company, Poser Productions. She has been collaborating on film projects of all types for the past three years, with a diverse handful of writer/directors, utilizing various media platforms, creative funding and production strategies. Anne is a self-taught filmmaker, and has written, directed, appeared in, and produced her own short films, in order to become a better producer, her dream job.

She is one of seven freckled Irish siblings raised on the east coast. While modeling at Ford Models in New York City throughout her teens and twenties, she found herself immersed in the multi-faceted collaborative process of commercial photography and film. Soon after earning her BFA from Parsons School of Design, she married Mario Grauso, a high-profile fashion executive, and settled into family life, putting a career aside. After 15 years together, they divorced in 2010 and have one child.

As a corporate wife, Anne served on various cultural boards, volunteered, and raised funds for many campaigns that include a diverse group of charitable institutions ranging from The American Ballet Theater to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She received accolades and awards for this work, while raising her son, also managing three homes and traveling the world. Anne continues to commit herself to charity work in Los Angeles as well, volunteering and mentoring, focusing her efforts on at risk and underprivileged young people at The Inner City Art Center, homeless outreach programs, and an L.A. area suicide hotline.

One of Anne's long term goals for Poser Productions is to form a non-profit film program, designed to inspire, entertain and empower at risk women and girls from impoverished areas globally. When Anne is not in her studio, on set or volunteering, she can usually be found in a dark movie theater.
